How do you put in the setup boxes when making a UTAU page like on Teto, Ritsu, and Tei's pages?Hey!

{C Hello. :3 Hope you don't mind my asking this.

As a new user of this program, I've had a few problems. The most prevalent of these comes from the timing of the notes. I just configured the oto.ini, so could it possibly have something to do with the overlap time? The note is either too short, too long, or it sounds like Kaede's tripping over the notes.


Regarding another issue, does her name make sense? Kaede Tsukuyomi. I'm aware that Kaede can mean "maple," but her color scheme doesn't match. I gave her this surname with her temperament in mind. It can differ as drastically as a maple tree's leaves in different weather, but is relatively placid. Tsukuyomi, "moon reader,"(or something like that...my Japanese is kind of a fail) comes from her personality and silver/lavender color scheme.

Help! Edit

On the Wiki's page that gives instructions on how to download an UTAU, there's a link to the official UTAU website. There's also instructions to click on the ダウンロード link at that website to get to the place to download UTAU. Well, when I clicked on the ダウンロード link, it took me to a page that said "DNS ERROR!" Someone with an IP address of 78.145.241.56, also IP 74.171.140.250 had been trolling and leaving some very negative, untrue comments on the wiki page of Luna Ichine without consulting the creator. How can i add my UTAU Kaika Tsuyoikoe to the "What's New" topic on the homepage? i added him a while ago and he's still not there :( a lot of people's one's are there and mine isn't...can i request for him to be put up there?

Japanese Language Abuse Edit

Meli7777 persisits on the wrong Japanese interpretations and ignores my messages again and again, giving me back no reply. You know, I've done hard work on Vocaloid wiki for accuracy and now I'm clearing UTAU wiki. Our aim is to build a faithful source for UTAU with the correct Japanese usage, isn't it? Her spreading Japanese misuse is a sort of vandal, isn't it? Anon users from Indonesia - maybe Meli7777 herself - are also editing wrong Japanese terms so should we set temporary locks on her pages? Locks on her page will do no good. As for her misuse, I will talk to this person; some people do not take things seriously until they are confronted.

Question about editing Edit

Hello O Herman,

I have a question about editing.

I was thinking of moving a few voicebanks to different Continent sections (See Overseas Voicebanks) and then deleting them off the "List of UTAUloids" page. Though I would also write which countries they're exactly from, what languages they sing in etc. Should I go ahead, or Keep them both on the UTAUloid page and the Continent they're listed in?

Topic on illegal UTAU, Sofia, and a newbie question Edit

I think UTAU Sofia should be added separated from Lourdes on the blacklist so it would be clear to others that she should not be used. Also, there are those who may just skim the blacklist and miss the mention of UTAU Sofia.

User editing UTAU and putting hurtful things? Edit

@_@ Hi, I don't know if that "user editing UTAUs and putting hurtful things" is me because I don't exactly know my IP address. But just in case, I would like to inform you of my activity. I've been trying to set up the page for my UTAU, but having difficulty. I was trying to follow the same table format as the other UTAUs. I clicked on Defoko's page and clicked edit only to see how the table was set up. I did not edit any contents, only looked at how the set up worked and everything without hitting submit. I ended up getting frustrated and just copied Defoko's table and pasted it into my UTAU's page and editing the contents to info on my UTAU.


I believe I looked at other UTAU's tables. How are they all exactly the same?


I'm getting so frustrating setting up the page for my UTAU that I'm about to cry. I wish somebody can help me but, obviously, I don't think I'll get help if I trying asking you for assistance or try asking a question in the forum of this community because I'll just be ignored. Trouble Uploading Photos Edit

I seem to be having trouble uploading any sort of image from my computer onto wiki. Whenever I attempt to upload an image, the computer seems to load and then drops the task without doing anything. Problems with the UTAU program reading wav filesEdit

{C Okay so I've been getting a strange error lately; I would try to run a song that I just finished editing and it suddenly stops. If I close the resampler box, it tells me that the wav could not be generated and I need to check the voice bank settings. I did this and everything is fine. I even re downloaded the UTAU program, but the error keeps poping up. Any advice on what I should do?Blackrose5912 22:38, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Use another voicebank and see if the error persists. If by voicebank change the problem goes away, it's a problem with the wav files in the voicebank.
If the problem persists, resampler.exe may be the problem. May I have the UST and the voicebank you're using? I'll check it out myself. O Herman 07:07, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Voice Alteration? owo Edit

How do I show that pitch alteration and stuff stuff? I know I'm not in any way copying (I use my own voice! >^<), but I want to make sure I can prove it! >:3

In UTAU, there are flags you can use to achieve those. Pitch alterations are done by UTAU flags. g=x where x is a value between 0 to 127 (i think)
If there's post-processing involved (ie. the usage of Audacity, et al.), it must be mentioned as well, but pitch alteration should not be through post-processing alone. O Herman 07:05, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

99.190.107.19 is vandalizing the Lorelei page (so far twice), and I highly doubt it’s Rukia herself since she’s not been on the internet lately and the IP can be traced to the US. The wiki system imposed an IP block on that user's IP, so if snowloid logs in that pc, she gets tagged as a sockpuppet.

New illegal utau (and productor) Edit

Hello, I was watching vidéo on youtube when I found the chanel of the creator of Kuro Arazune (SukinaKukki on youtube) (a blacklisted utau), and I saw that He remade an UTAU with the same Voice as Kuro but with an another name (Namidane Haru). And I let a comantary on his Video, of cours I deleted It but he answer with Blackmail (He said that if I do something he will add my utaus in the blacklisted section of the wiki)

Also, I think that using a (blacklisted) utau voice with an another name is illegal (and blackmail too)

I'd like too know if it's possible too add his creatore and him in the blacklisted section?

The original Voice of Kuro Arazune was SukinaKukki, and Kuro was a FRAloids (the french officiel group of UTAUloids) but He broke the rules of FRAloids, do blacklisted to other french UTAUist etc....

I was the productor of Kuro (I made his disigne, the oto.ini, and i'm the director of FRAloids), he just re-use the voice with an another name.

I saw the motif of his banneishement, but it wasn't rebelled at me, it was for the personne who said that kuro et haru has the same voice (I said that, but other people said it too, it wasn't personnal)

Somehow... trying to contact you I ended up on the utau wikia. Aw nuts, what did I do? Lol.

ANYWAY. I guess its not important so long as you get the message.

Due to the problems, I'm trying to get a MMD wikia to set itself up and run. I message you about this earlier today. -Super-Bunai has located two MMD related wikias, can you take a look at them at the Vocaloid wikia? the links are on my talk page. It would be a good idea if we looked at these wikia and at least picked one to promote and encourage to build as a community. That way we can get that wikia to put up information on the stuff. It would help a LOT as both Bunai and I said, MMD is a large grey area and theres an awful lot of models out there... This isn't just black and white. I mean, even UTAU isn't black and white so you should be able to relate.

Anyway, I'm going to contact the MMD wikias or rather their heads and see if anyone replies. If not one replies, someone is going to have to adopt the wikias and at least try and set it up even if its just for another to take over. I always prefer if the original owners do this themselves as its fairly rude to intrude, so I'm hoping one will contact us back. :-/

In the meantime, can you talk a little about this with Bunai?

Begging for Invites

Recently Vocaloid Otaku forums have had people begging for invites into the website "Nyappon". This has annoyed members of Vocaloid Otaku forums. If you wish to become part of the Nyappon community, please be aware of some basics. The current members of Vocaloid Otaku as well as other sites such as Vocaloidism are aware of leechers within the 3 respective fandoms Vocaloid, UTAU and MMD and are not impressed with anyone who just wants access to Nyappon so they can take what they can and run.

Here's a guide if you want to get an invite into Nyappon or any similair invite community and if you think you deserve it:

  • Show proof that you can speak proper Japanese (that means no machine translators such as babel and google!)
  • Include either;
    • A portfolio of vocaloid original work
    • A portfolio of original UTAU work
    • Or a portfolio of original MikuMiku Dance work
  • Be at a stage where you can put something back into the Nyappon community

If you do not show this and/or beg for the invite, you will be most likely ignored. Please be aware that even if you have several years worth of esperiencethis might not be enough even still and you will have to have become familair to the Vocaloid, UTAU and MMD communities as well so they know to trust you.

To those who already have become Nyappon members; DO NOT give out invites to people begging because it could look bad for you and anyone else in the overseas communties.

Heartlys voice is only just a pitch bend of Ixbrans, i see no reason to make a separate page for him until he gets his own actual voice bank. also, The page specifically states that either I, his creator or those whom i give permission via his talk page, have the right to edit his page. If you are indeed a mod who works on this wiki you need to respect that. He's my creation, the page is my property. I made the lay-out of his page the way i think is best.
Also, speaking of Damesukekun, he doesn't seem to mind the way his page is. his only concern was Ixbrans Sub page i made for Ixbran's Notable works, and i understand his reasons for it which is why i am not complaining about it. How I run My Characters page is none of your business, so please, I'll ask again, please don't touch his page again. I did not mean to snap at you the way i had before, its just i was surprised and angered by the fact someone had altered the page without my consent. when i had clear stated in the Important Notice section i didn't want anyone editing it unless they are listed in the talk page of said character.

By virtue of the wiki, admins override that right to edit the page in terms of orderliness. Of course, we'll leave stuff that belongs to your characters alone. We never mess with that unless we absolutely have to.
Damesukekun helps with the cultural aspect, particularly in the Japanese aspect of the UTAUloids. He has a limited (afaik) knowledge of the wiki code and html code, although he suggests changes to me from time to time. I was the one who took the wiki over from Chii when he couldn't attend to it like he used to.
We are planning a revamp of all the profile pages, and what if we push through with that and you refuse to allow your page to be updated to the new design? I don't want conflict, but this is how stuff works here. You need to know that.
We are not taking over your creation, but how your creation is presented in the wiki. Facts regarding your character is rightfully yours, of course. I respect the fact you are the one who calls the shots when it comes to the character, but when it comes to the site and its presentation, I call the shots around here.
tl;dr, I have a problem with your page design. We have a prescribed format here and you need to comply with it. Since you don't want anybody touching your page, do it so I won't have to do it for you. The design is actually an unwritten rule, but now I'm considering putting that in the policies at the cost of the rules page being more tl;dr. Nobody likes tl;dr but order comes first. I requested that User:Damesukekun Lock the page for me to prevent vandalism. I also ention on my page that i have a list in the talk page that i only want certain people to edit it. He probably saw this and took it into account when he Locked it. Only Me, User:Mole-chan, User:Blueloid and User:FastSpeedy can edit it due to the lock Damesukekun put on the page. If you want the lock removed, ask him about it. I have no idea how to do it. but even so, I would rather it not be removed because in all honesty, even though your an Admin, I don't trust you. I only want people i Know and Trust to be able to edit his page, because i know they wont sabotage it.
I am a very paranoid person, i dont take hate or resentment well. I don't want someone who hates me, and has a wiki account, to come in and mess the shit out of it due to said hatred. I also saw that hate thread you made on that UTAU Forum site, that in it self proves you are not someone I can trust, and probably never will. Going behind someones back and complaining about them is the lowest of the low a human being can sink too, in my personal opinion.
But what ever, your an admin, you don't care what happens as long as everything goes your way.
If you want it unlocked, talk to User:Damesukekun, hes the one who locked it, not me. i don't know how he did it, or how to undo it.

From all the wikis I handled, in Vocaloid Wiki, here, MikuMikuDance Wiki and Wolfenstein Wiki, I never had people complaining like you did. You're the only one thus far, and it seems to me you've never been in a wiki before, perhaps not even in wikipedia?
Now that rage is out of the way, let's go on with my real purpose:
Locks in wikia work differently. Unrestricted is the default locking; Users only restricts anonymous and unregistered users, and users who just registered recently. Admin lock only allows a page to be edited by administrators only. No users, not even the page author, could edit the page at that point. Didn't you even wonder why I was able to edit your page despite the locks?
As I clarified, page locks beyond administrator-class lock do not guarantee an end-all vandalism protection. You seem to misunderstand this. Even in Wikipedia, no such page locks exist.
Damesukekun gave you that protection probably because he thought you didn't want random anonymous users from editing your page-- this is understandable. We've got similar users requesting similar locks, especially after a vandalism attack.
From here on, I will update your page now so it will be up to standard. And no, I never alter relationships and NEVER to my liking. We have rules against that kind of edits., and I banned someone for that in the past O Herman 07:13, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

This user proclaims that Injune Midori and Shizuka Tei are her UTAUloids, and as well that Camron (her new utau) have the voice of Injune Midori. This person is also basically stealing Midori design.

I already informed Xue about it.

I hope u can do sumthing about this, since Xue (Midori voicer) is busy with school and Hikari (Tei voicer) has not been on Skype lately.

Issue on a VOCALOID/MMD related thing Edit

Herman, I have an issue... that may not be UTAU related, but VOCALOID and MMD.

A mexican group named tntvirtual.com are making "OFFICIAL VOCALOID CONCERTS" using LAT models and so on... they are even projecting a "New Mexican VOCALOID" on their concerts named 愛咲ミツコ (Arisa Mitsuko). Seems that during the concert they said she was the new spanish and mexican-produced vocaloid, and some people are getting the info this is official. She seems to be a modification on a SWEET or SOFT Miku. I am not really sure bout this, but saying stuff like that may not be likeable to CRYPTON.

I already made research in VOCALOID Wiki, NicoNicoDouga, and Piapro to look for legit information, but obviously there's nothing.

I wanted to post this on VOCALOID Wiki, but I am not sure how to contact the Talk Pages there and who are the admins. And since u also are part of that Wiki, was easier to me to contact u this way.

Your view: character type and voicebank sources Edit

Hello, stopping by to ask two questions about a character I never thought would appear on the Fanloid wiki this soon.

I rearranged the page recently, anyway, if you see the trivia the character is said to be using the voice of an UTAU named Subarashiine Kurumi. And since Subarashiine's page has no policy, I have no idea what the creators of the character would think of their UTAU voicebank being used to portray another character. Unless Mikitarana had some hand in creating the mentioned UTAU, then I have no serious issue about it, however, if she is not involved in the creation and used the voicebank without the creators wishes, then it is the lack of permission that I have an issue with.

My second question is about Fanmade Vocaloids being given a voice by use of the UTAU software. Should I allow these types of characters on the Fanloid wiki, or should I direct them to the UTAU wiki? The reason is I am open to allowing people to give their characters a voice as long as it is by legal means. Obviously creating a voice with a free program vs paying for software that was created for professionals, is going to be the most popular choice. Especially if the creator of the character is young.

As we already know Teto herself started out as a joke Fanmade Vocaloid, but upon discovering she was created by another synthesizing software, people dubbed her an UTAUloid. However, people still refer to her as Vocaloid by some means.

I'm going to be realistic about it, everyone can't afford Vocaloid software, but not being able to have it should not discourage people from making a character. In fact, as far as I am aware, there has never been a written rule about Fanmade Vocaloids having an UTAU voice. I suppose it is more of a "logical" thing to just make an Fanmade UTAU instead. -- Bunai82 (talk) 22:08, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

If the Fanmade character uses an UTAU voicebank, they are not considered Vocaloids UNLESS they used Vocaloid previously. That's why Teto exists in both wikis.

Having problems with my wiki page Edit

Hi again!

I decided to add some extra sections to my UTAULOID wiki page... mostly "Terms of Service" to protect him from piracy/voice stealing, "Trivia" info for random stuff related to the development of the character, and "Contact" info for the main ways to obviously contact me.

But everytime I try to edit the page, I get some </li> on some sections at the end of the sentences and when I try to edit and delete them, they reappear and change the structure of the section. I tried to fix this on many ways but I am failing so hard about it.

Also, I was wondering about the new character profiles, since I would love to update my information to the new base. Any way I can find it?

UPDATE: I am converting my page to Character Profiles 2.0, but I am having issues with the template: When I try to make line breaks for the Indigenous Name, the cell stretches like I have inserted double breaks. The same happens to Name Interpretation and Release Revision. That is making me so hard to edit my page.

Even in one time my whole page got double breaks that I had to edit.

Also, as you see... I had to Indent the lists on my page, since the bulleted list were also giving me problems. Most of the time I am getting double breaks on bullet lists or a </li> at the end of every item that it's almost impossible to delete, since it reappears or duplicates (see the historial of my page). Unfortunatelly I lack of html knowledge to make edits in this way... Any recomendations for these problems?

OKAY. I'm not going to be here for a few days possibly around the Vocaloid wikia. I was considering wha to do about my absence but we need someone who has proven thsmevles to be promoted. Can you promote someone in my absence to admin who doesn't have it? I'd say everyone from BackUp:YumiNakamine upwards is the pick who hasn't already got it. I'll let you make the big discision, go to Bunai if you need help (try not to discuss this on the wikia).We don't really have rules for promotion though and it makes it difficult so I had to say "the top 5 - discounting the staff members". >_<

In toal I want about 4 Admins and two beaucrats, that leaves two spots for new admins. I did have some little niggle about Dame's promotion without warning, I know Dame deserved it and all but I'd rather have had the editors who make big contributions up, so I'll prob. increase the number I'm aiming for to 5 to conpensate for this in Jan. I'm tempted to hang on until Feb because Taboo6938 recent editing has me considering Tab for position, however Tab's 2 months short of being counted since everyone else on the top contributors have been around for over 6 months and I'd prefer the new comers to show they've been a little bit more then eager to return to us a few times, if you get my drift.

Anyway, don't forget to notify whoever you promote that this IS a temporay placeholder until Jan/Feb.

Hello, while I am not fond of this wiki and its affiliates' blacklisting issues, I don't think it deserves to be left in the dark about this tiny issue. From what I've heard, there's been a malicious ad circulating, so if you're using, or thinking about using Google ads, I suggest you be careful.
On a side note, the user in the picture above added her utau into the VIPPERS section, and from what I know, she's not an actual vipperloid.

Pardon me, I am unsure if this is so, but I believe somebody has taken another UTAUloid (Fjord Donka's) image as their own and using it for their own UTAUloid. Due to the page being completely written in Italian, I cannot tell whether or not Fjord's voicebank was stolen as well.

This UTAUloid is who I am speaking about. Do you think you can check that out?

I downloaded the software, but when I open it I get a message saying "Bad File Name or Number." Also, it's showing random symbols instead of what I assume should be kanji. Hello, O Herman! I have a few questions that I would like to bring forward about the UTAU wiki.

1. When is the official point that a Proposed UTAU can become a WIP UTAU (ex. does it have to have a picture and a voicebank?)

PROPOSED UTAULOIDS - those that only have aesthetics.

Another thing that's more serious: I wanted to make a UTAU based on these dolls I have, they're called Pullip, and I have given proper credit of the name to the company who made the dolls, and the name Pullip is only being used in the project name, the rest I made on my own. Well... Pullip dolls as far as I know, are sold like "bases" and it's the buyer who gives the finishing touches. You could make an UTAULOID with a basis on those dolls. I would not recommend call them Pullip Project because of the possible copyright under that name.

BPM can more easy calculated on VCV, on CV the only way of gettin it is by selecting the effective waveform and divide that to 60 (seconds) so you can get a BPM (Beats Per Minute).
About the PS: No. Up to date, no VOCALOID company has ever contacted any UTAU voicer to create a VOCALOID. This only happened into the uttaite-community with Piko, voicer of Utatane Piko. Yue Nagareboshi 21:19, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

I know about the case... I have Ekura Waka page blocked because of this... but I will check the problem by myself. When I was checking the wavs, not all of them were identical... I wil have to make further investigation in both VBs (even if she takes it down, I already have a copy of it) and Ichine Lunas versions (5, and 4.2).

Hello, O Herman, I think there may be a small case of information theft.

Please do help me out, because I absolutely DO NOT want to accuse someone who is innocent, so I would like to ask for your help to determine if this is information theft.

I'm sure that it may just be a coincidence (a very very big one), but my UTAUloid, Denki Utadenwa, is a lot like another UTAUloid, Yuu Denki.

Yuu Denki's page was posted after Denki Utadenwa's was, I'm positive, I remember.

Denki Utadenwa's page says: Age: 19 Weight: 125 lbs (57 kg)

his item was grapes for a long time, but I changed it recently.

He also has cat ears, and his eyes are purple along with his hair.

Now, Yuu Denki's page says: Age: 19 Weight: 126 lbs (57 kg)

she likes grapes. she has cat ears. her eyes are purple.


She just seems very similiar to my UTAUloid.

Please respond and help me determine if this is a coincidence or information theft (I hope it is a coincidence.)

Defacing my UTAU's pageEdit

Hello, I would like to report people (possibly one, or more than one) posting inappropriate things and defacing my Wikia page for Kihekine Ni. All three times, I had to fix my page back up, after the first time, I had copied the text shown in Source mode for the page in order to fix it more quickly if there were anymore people to deface it, which there were.

Found here by an unknown IP Address and here by a User named Thread12334. As well as here by TheDrunkRecruit. The first occurance was the unknown IP Address, then TheDrunkRecruit, and today, Thread12334.

I will admit to defacing TheDrunkRecruit's page of Ryouki Raiden in a fit of rage after the first person (the unknown IP Address) had defaced my page since I had thought it was TheDrunkRecruit who had defaced my page, however, shortly after I had brought it back to it's original state.

If you could do something about those three users, that would be very much helpful to me, and thank you for your time.

As a matter of fact, KihekineNi-kun edited Ryouki Raiden's page first, & TheDrunkRecruit responded afterward on Kihekine Ni's page. TheDrunkRecruit hasn't majorly edited the page since, as all of the harassment was done by Thread12334 & the unknown IP address. Therefore, isn't his ban a little too harsh?

There are indeed dates and records on the Edit History of the page. TheDrunkRecruit was the first, then the anon and then Thread12334. The one with most constant harrasment was the last one. I protected Kihekine-ni page with only be edited by registed users and no more anons. I never used the word "BAN" but "BLOCK", which is different. Hoshi178 - Was found to trade and edit restricted MMD models and to send an abusive message to a person who gave advice. The message is as follows: "GOD, STOP! YOU'RE ANNOYING ME TOO! STOP! AND YOU KNOW WHAT?? YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE! A DUMB AND WHAT THE HELL CAN I CALL YOU MORE! DO YOU THINK THAT I'M SO SILLY AS YOU? I KNOW HOW TO BLOCK USERS, I KNOW HOW TO REPORT THEM TOO! IF YOU WANT TO BE REPORTED JUST CONTINUE WITH YOUR SILLY THINGS u.u ... ARE YOU GOING TO BAN ME BECAUSE OF WHAT? CAN'T EVEN HAVE MY LIFE? DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN LIFE? DID YOU LIKE IF I WAS LIKE YOU? I have an update. Apparently she has feuded with Damesukekun, an admin in both this and mmd wiki when he was trying to get her to stop that activity in question.

Thank you for letting me know. Before lifting her from the blacklist, she should send me an apology.

Blocking IP Adresses... Edit

I really think that we shouldn't have people able to edit Wikia pages if they aren't members, because there are a lot of immature trolls and if they can't hide themselves you can find them and ban them easier

I'm just annoyed with the fact i have to keep fixing my UTAU's pages because everyone that dislikes me as a person attacks my UTAUs because they are childish beings.

So... I really apologize such act, but I was acting almost inconsciently.

I'll never repeat that again and I don't trade or distribute illegal MMD models anymore and my Utau is totally recorded with my own voice ;)
