Ticket Report Edit

Hello, I'm here to make a report about the problem I'm having now...

My UTAUloid genderbend's, Shinji Hamano 's page is now up to this wiki, and I was not informed about it. I never give permission to anyone to make his wiki page.

The link to his original concept art is here . His traits and behaviour is different from the original information I wrote in the description of his concept art.

This person, Shinjo Koene also edited my other UTAU pages such as Nao Yoshiko and Shiho Koene , but I have edited it back to normal.

I hope admins will take action for this problem. Thank you in advance.

UTAU wiki virus? Edit

This is Zelfie from UTAforum. You had asked me to tell you everything about what happened, so here I am.

Basically, I was on Ryan Moriyama's wiki page, and clicked the link to his homepage. Typically, I would have skipped the ad, but before the skip button loaded, I was redirected to the malware page I posted screenshots of. So I clicked ok to the message and hit the back button to go back to the wiki page. When I clicked the UTAdroids homepage link again, an Ameritrade ad showed up and I was able to get through just fine.

I'm pretty sure it's not the UTAdroids tumblr, because it happened before I could click skip.

That's really all I know, aside from the URL I was redirected to is in the screenshot. However, I'm not sure whether to post the link in case someone accidentally clicks it.

Since I didn't allow the file to download and test it, I don't know if it was actually malware, but I suspect it was because that is a typical tactic for Trojans.

Thanks for the report. I personally checked Ryan's page. When I clicked on the commented link, as guest (in which the window that tell you you are leavin the wiki appear) and also as an admin. On both I was not redirected to the page you shown on your screenshots.
I revised the source edit on his page and I found nothing wrong on the script either. I will try to talk with the owner of the wiki so he can give us a message about recent attacks too the server. Thanks for the info.

About Vipperloid pages Edit

Hello, I was wondering if you could copy the locked template and message from Teto's page and place it on Tei Sukone. And for Tei Sukone, the link to 'Kagami Kawaiine' needs to be changed from vocaloid.wikia to fanloid.wikia. The Vocaloid wiki is focusing on official and acknowledge information, so fanmades have a new active home wiki; which is run by me currently ^_^.

The rest of the Vipperloids seem to be protected, but visitors don't know what. -- Bunai82 (talk) 18:13, February 12, 2012 (UTC)

Edits were done... I am thinking in adding the locked template to other VIPPERS too.. even if they are already blocked. I want to lower the vandalism rate to the minimum possible. So far I put the template on Tei Sukone (by obvious hate of some fans) and Ritsu Namine. I think I will add more but after an agreement with the fellow admins. but it's concerning the wiki page of Sora Anjou.

I see that you blocked 24.212.151.141 from editing, but that is the original creator of Sora Anjou.

I'm her good friend (creator of Raine Reizo/Raine Rena).

If you want confirmation that this person is the original creator, you can talk with her on deviantART or YouTube.

So I'm asking if you can unblock her?

173.32.169.11 is actually a vandilizer, but she is also a good friend of ours.

They are arguing about his height so they keep changing it back and forth.

I think you should block 173.32.169.11 from editing Sora Anjou's wikia page because Sora is NOT her UTAUloid and she shouldn't have control over his info. The original author should be the one determining who he is and his info. So even if they are arguing about his height, the original author should be the one who can determine it in the end since he belongs to him. Although I tried convincing 173.32.169.11 to stop it, she is "holding a grudge" about it, so I think it's best if you just block her. I told the original creator of Sora Anjou to login whenever she makes changes on the wikia now. Do you still want clarification on who the original author is? About Kanashima NamineEdit

First, I am sooooooo offended (/sarcasm). Second, and being serious... if you ACTUALLY read the rules and if you actually knew about the ToS of WaveSounds (Namine Ritsu team) It's forbidden to make characters related to Namine Ritsu. Same happened with all the Kasane's sisters that were on the wiki. We had to remove them by petition of TwinDrill team.
I have no problem of she living on the fanloid wiki, because she is that, an invention. Not and actual UTAULOID and Kanashima has no place on UTAU wiki.

I would be even more glad to help if I knew who are you, but anyways hehe.

First of all, I recommend you to read: Terms_and_Conditions, UTAU_wiki_House_Rules, and UTAU_Usage_Policy to know about the rules. Then, as template, you could use as guide Teto Kasane page and just change the information with your UTAULOID infomation. Another way is by using this tool that can be found in the Pageless UTAUloids page: Profiler You just need to fill the blank boxes on the page and when you are done filling with information, press "Generate File". Then a code will be created. Now just create a new article on the wiki (better if you do it by loggin into the wiki with an account so we can identify your changes later) and on the editor press the SOURCE tab up right and paste the data, then go back to VISUAL tab and you will find your page almost done.

Name the page in western style (name-surname) and create the page. Last but not least, add the tags according with what applies to your UTAULOID. Hope this information is helpful for you anon! Yue Nagareboshi 23:46, April 12, 2012 (UTC)

Fanloid and UTAULOID are 2 different things, and if you two can't realize the difference between them it's not my problem.

First, CP created Kanashima Namine; as a relative of Ritsu Namine. WaveSound, as well as other VIPPALOID teams do not permit the creation of secondary characters of their products. We were obligated by their Terms of Service to remove that page. This also happened with many Kasanes who claimed to be relatives of Teto. As a result, CP came here just to insult an admin. Days later CP posted Kadashima Namine and all these fanloids into the fanloid wiki. I said then I had no problem at all because those characters DO NOT BELONG TO UTAU WIKI since the descriptions said they were vocaloids their voicesource was VOCALOID-generated (Megurine Luka and Kamui Gakupo). UTAULOIDS have their own voicesource; meaning they dont have anything to do here.

  • VOCALOID - singing synthetizer with their own base bank (voice source) with a pre-established illustration and managed by a company. Used for commercial use with no need of authorization of the company. They have their own ToS. They have copyrights in their voice, image, and name.
  • UTAULOID - singing systhetizer with their own voice bank (voice source) provided by voice the creator itself or with the help of someone with an illustration . In most of the cases they are home-made, but some of them are produced in studio. It's property of the creator or the team involved. Some of they have copyright on voice, image, and name. Almost all of them do not authorize commercial use or need prior contact with the creator to approve. ToS change according to the owners.
  • FANLOID - Original character that has no voice-source but it's provided with one of the before mentioned synthetizers. These characters most of the time are only aesthetics. Some of them have copyright on their creators (especial cases: Yowane Haku, Akita Neru). Some of them are mere pitchbends (Akaito, Hagene Lin). Some of them are just creations of fans (as yours).

Now that you know the difference, you should understand why we wont admit your caracters on UTAU wiki. They have no relationship with UTAU Engine, and they are not official VOCALOIDS, so their place is only Fanloid wiki.

Now, being a 13 years old kid is not an excuse. Most of the UTAU users are teenagers and they follow the rules perfectly. I am not denying you worked hard on your drawings, but again, this is not the place. About being "disrespectful", I am being respectful to the whole community having this place in order the most I can; I am estrict and people respected that. You 2 are the first here to come and act pretty immature attacking without even knowing the basics. I will pass this report to the other admins so they know about the issue and I will proceed to delete the pages eventually. I will inform also to the fanloid wiki admin about this incident. Hello, I'm sort of what could be considered a newcomer to wiki editing in general. I was working on adding my utauloid to the Furloid subsection of 'loids, but I can't seem to figure out how to add my name to the list of them. My actual utau page seems to be alright (got it down after the...7th edit, I believe XD). Is there any reference guide or something that shows information on this?

Ixbran and HeartlyEdit

Well the initial reason i put them on the same page is due to the fact that both of their voice banks are downloaded in the same pack, similarly to how the Vocaloid wiki keeps Rin and Lens info on a single page despite being two different people. Ixbran Ximune and Heartly Ximune are lovers, husbands to one another, so I felt it was best to keep them on the same page like the way its done on the Vocaloid wiki for the Kagamines.

Sorry for the late reply. You can do the next: Go to Pageless utauloids page, there is a profiler. Add the information of your utauloid inside the boxes. When you end, generate the code. Copy it.

Page protection RequestEdit

Hello, i am here on behalf of a friend. His Utau character page had been sabotaged.

utau Tonyu Tasamuki had its name changed too UTaU DELETER, and then the person proceeded to delete everything, placing the words "OP LYING SCONES I WILL TELL THE ADMIN I DID NOTHING SO STOP RAGING AND GROW UP - Tonyu". someone had tried to make it seem like the user had deleted everything by signing it with the name of the UTAU. the one responsible for sabotaging it is User:Mamipuella. In the history logs it shows this user removing -1,624 bytes worth of data, which deleted everything from the page after the name change. please block this person from editing Tonyus page as well as protect it from unregistered wiki users. I am making an Utauloid, and I don't uderstand how to make the page layout! Please help! Do i need to go through the proccess of putting it on the proposed ones then the WIP ones then make a page? Or can I put her in proposed Utauloids and make it its own page?

Also in the Page Ethics it says "A single profile page may only house one character at a time. If multiple characters are found, they shall be spun off to separate pages." Does this mean on the Utauloids specific page? Like if I wanted to make Multiple Utauloids would I make seperate pages? And what if they are twins like Rin/Len?

Finally I think there should be a Chatroom in this wiki. It would be alot easyer to ask for help then.

Erm... hi. I'm in the process of making my first UTAU, and I only have the oto.ini left, but every time I open her in UTAU, the character.txt and readme.txt files don't work and it says there is no information. I'm using a version of UTAU I downloaded in January of this year. Do you know what's happening or how to fix it?

Creative DeviationEdit

Sorry to bother you, but I have a question I would like to ask. According to the terms and conditions all users must use the prescribed layout. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the prescribed layout as it's pretty bland, unprofessional, and not very organised/neat. According to the terms, the creative deviations are limited. Would it be ok for me to use a custom layout? it still has tables covering all the sections and information in the prescribed layout (In the similar order. i.e Name-related things, then statistic tables, etc). It is not overdone, and still minimalistic. And as someone who has an experienced eye for aesthetics I'd say the layout I created looks much better than the one prescribed.

I am glad you found the reasons. There's nothing more left to be explained. The UTAU wiki will not support the piracy of the material on both UTAU and VOCALOID articles.
Being poor is not an excuse. We all can work and vocaloids are not unaccessable stuff. I also live in a 3rd world country as you (México). Just work. That's how I got CLARA and my Macnes.

First Time using the UTAU WikiEdit

I seem to have a problem with my UTAU, Atsui Hono, page. I copied the source from Kasane Teto's page, but everything was jumbled and a mess; so deleted all of the extra stuff and left the information. But, I want to keep the formating that Teto's page has, can you help?

About the "Male voicers" categoryEdit

I noticed that the "Male voicers" page which I had placed my three completed voicebanks in had been deleted over a year ago since it only had one poster. Since then, however, it seems more people [including myself upon not having realized it was deleted] have placed their UTAUloids on it, so I thought it would make sense to restore it.

I decided it would be best to check with you first, considering that you're the one who deleted it, before I remade it.

Hope I haven't been a bother!
